Tin Shui Wai Stop (天水圍站) is an interchange station between the Tuen Ma Line and the MTR Light Rail, located under the Tin Shui Wai Station of the Tuen Ma Line.

Station Facilities[]

There are three platforms at the Light Rail Tin Shui Wai Stop, which are used for 705 and 706 for terminus, as well as for Light Rail Route 751 as an intermediate station. There is a loop on the west side of the stop for trains to U-turn. At present, only a few empty trains and Light Rail Route 751P are use this. The first (cancelled) version in 2003 Light Rail Restructuring Plan was for 771 line U-turn. To the west of this loop is Railway Interchange, located on Railway Interchange code-named B.

"First Come, Last Board" boarding system[]

From Monday to Saturday from 7:15am to 8:45am and from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, Platform 3 of this station implements the "First Come, Last Board" boarding system: the arriving train will be at the back half of platform 3 Disembark passengers before proceeding to the front half of the platform for passengers to board to avoid confusion for passengers transferring to the Light Rail or the Tuen Ma Line. In addition, from Monday to Saturday from 7:15 am to 8:45 am, the down elevator from Tuen Ma Line Tin Shui Wai Station Exit E3 to Platform 3 will change to upbound to relieve passengers transferring to the Tuen Ma Line during the morning rush hour. Passengers had to used Exit E2 instead and go to Platform 3 via Platform 2.
