Platforms[]
There are 2 platforms at Ngau Tau Kok Station, arranged in an island style. Most of the platforms are straight, but the front part of Platform 1 (towards Tiu Keng Leng) is slightly curved inwards, and the gap there is close to that of Kwun Tong Station.
Since a section of the overhead track between Ngau Tau Kok and Kowloon Bay stations runs side by side with the Kai Fuk Road flyover, in order to prevent fare evaders from entering the station via the flyover, there are no stairs on the platform leading to the track, and staff must pass through the station machine room to access the track, and match with the barbed wire fence with blades set between the Kai Fuk Road flyover and the track.
