Fare Zone 5A is a fare zone for theLight Raillocated in Northern Tin Shui Wai and is also a theLight Rail's newest toll area, which is also the northernmost toll area of theLight Rail. It was inaugurated on December 5th 2003 and now consists of 7 stations, including 1 terminus.
This fare zone is named "5A" to facilitate passengers to calculate the number of fare zones. In routes from Fare Zone 5, the trip from Fare Zone 5A to Fare Zone 5 is calculated as three charging zones.
