LOHAS Park Station (康城站) is located in District 86 of Tseung Kwan O New Town. The station is covered by a large-scale comprehensive development property named "LOHAS Park", and to the south is Tseung Kwan O Depot. This station is also the easternmost station in the Hong Kong railway network.

After the merger of the two railways, Lohas Park Station became the first newly opened railway station of the MTR. It is one of two termini on the Tseung Kwan O Line. Since the station's opening, the Tseung Kwan O Line has implemented an arrangement, called the "3+1" frequency arrangement, which meant that for every 3 trains to Po Lam, there would be 1 train to Lohas Park.[2], which is the first time since the line was put into service in 2002 that the frequency of trains to and from Po Lam had been significantly reduced. This arrangement has caused dissatisfaction among many railfans, residents and political parties.[3]

Station symbol[]

Lohas Park Station uses purple as the main color tone of the station. Like other Tseung Kwan O Line stations, the station name is printed on the baked lacquer board on the platform wall, but it is not written by Au Kit-tong.

Platform 1 is a backup platform, which is only used in emergency situations, so it is rare for trains to use platform 1 (March 2010)

There are 2 platforms in this station, arranged in a island platform. The platforms are narrower than other stations due to the expected low usage.

Since platform adopts the same enclosed design as underground stations, passengers using this station often mistakenly think that this station is an underground station.

Trains usually only use platform 2, and platform 1 is a backup platform, which will not be used normally except for receiving trains. The westbound direction of platform 1 is connected to a U-turn siding, and then connected to the adjacent Tseung Kwan O Depot. Trains entering and leaving the depot from Lohas Station will use platform 1 for boarding and alighting. [5]
