Following the construction of the amendments to earlier systems, the construction of the Kowloon Bay Station also started on 16 February in 1976. [3]Contract No. 210 for the construction of Kowloon Bay Station was won by Kung Wo Construction Co., Ltd. The company also needs to lay an 800-meter-long double-track overhead track near the station. [3]Kowloon Bay Station is a simple reinforced concrete structure built from the ground up. It was built on the site of the former ship repair yaMei Foo and ironworks. A total of 17,000 cubic meters of concrete and 2,450 tons of steel were used for construction. When it was completed, its ground floor was the underground railway revenue storage, which housed coin processing equipment and processed the total revenue of all subway stations at that time. [2]

Kowloon Bay Station was officially handed over to the MTR Corporation by the contractor in 1979July 9, becoming the second completed station (after Lok Fu Station) to correct the early system. [2] Later, in oMei Fooer to make citizens familiar with the automatic toll collection equipment of the subway, and to provide the newly hired employees of the train department with the opportunity to practice handling a large number of passengers, the subway company held a meeting between August 12 and August 25 Kowloon Bay Station will be open to the public from 10 to 6 every day, and tokens will be provided for citizens to try out the ticket vending machines. [4]

Kowloon Bay Station was opened in October 1 1979 with the opening of Template:Initial Modified System, becoming one of the first subway stations in Hong Kong.
