Kowloon Bay Depot (九龍灣車廠, KBD) is a MTR Kwun Tong Line depot located underneath Telford Garden in Kowloon Bay, with Kowloon Bay Station and MTR Headquarters Building located next to the depot.

The depot is indirectly connected to the Choi Hung Station, where the central track is set up. In 1970, the Kwun Tong Line and the Template:East Kowloon Line shared this depot. In order to avoid the returning East Kowloon Line trains affecting the Kwun Tong Line schedule, the return trains from Diamond Hill Station to the depot will pass through the central track of Choi Hung Station. The East Kowloon Line project was eventually shelved and the central track at Choi Hung Station was rendered unnecessary.

The Kowloon Bay Depot was the first depot to be built on the MTR system and therefore had the role of a major depot. The central control room was located at this depot until 1998 when it was moved to the Tsing Yi Operations Control Centre with the opening of the Airport Express[1]. And indeed, in addition to the Kwun Tong Line fleet, major repairs and modifications to the Tseung Kwan O Line, Tsuen Wan Line, Island Line and Disneyland Resort Line trains[2] happen at this depot.
