2019: At 6:14 am, MTR stated that train services were disrupted due to a fault in overhead cable equipment near Tsuen Wan Line Sham Shui Po Station [1]:
- At 6:55 am，due to the suspension of train services from Jordan Station to Lai King Station, the MTR Corporation has arranged free shuttle buses from Jordan Station to Lai King Station.
- At 7:17 am, the train service from Prince Edward Station to Lai King Station is resumed. There is a train service from Lai King Station to Tsuen Wan Station every 6 minutes. In addition, the Kwun Tong Line from Whampoa Station to Tiu Keng Leng Station runs every 10 minutes, and from Central Station to Tiu Keng Leng Station every 10 minutes Shuttle bus
- MTR has made train service arrangements and arranged for Kwun Tong Line trains to pass near Mong Kok Station. Passengers taking Kwun Tong Line to and from Central Station. Passengers needed to get off at Mong Kok Station and go directly to Central Station or Tiu Keng Ling Station.
- At 7:55 am, the MTR free shuttle bus will be changed to Prince Edward Station to Lai King Station.
- At 8:23 am, the Tsuen Wan Line overhead cable equipment fault was repaired and train services gradually returned to normal.
